Sisters

Oh, sure... they're getting along great now but in a few years Skylar will be yelling at Raven, "Quit following me!" Remember that sis? :)

Our Unconventional Christmas Tree

We're not big on Christmas but try our best to recycle things. I saw this tree one holiday season at Pier 1 and it was $60. I went back after Christmas and it was $26! The origami gift boxes are made out of Christmas cards that we received from friends and family.

Good Chi Is Headed Our Way!

This was our project this past weekend. The worst part was digging the hole because there were 6" of rocks we had to dig through before we got to the soil. Hopefully it will all pay off though because it is supposed to bring you good Chi to have a water feature by your front door. Woo hoo!

Playing "Restaurant"

It was the best PB&J cracker sandwich I had ever had! Shortly after making it for me she said, "My boss is letting me take a break now!"

We Don't Call Her "Scooter" For Nothin!

She takes great care not to mess up those chubby little knees!

A Special Flag

When we were traveling through Rockport this past weekend we stopped at a country resale shop... you know, the kind that looks like Sandford & Son's yard. Inside, behind the checkout counter was this huge American flag made out of buttons. The owner said that she sent an identical flag to the NY firestation, closest to Ground Zero. Each person who lost a life that day was represented by one button. Seeing that many buttons really makes you realize just how many lives were lost!
